The astonishing amalgamation of sound produced by this duo demands first-hand experience to be truly grasped. MODERN TECHNOLOGY, comprising the tandem of Chris Clarke and Owen Gildersleeve (Old Mayor), manages to conjure an illusion of amplified scale, intensity, and clamour that defies conventional expectations. Their second full-length album, "CONDITIONS OF WORTH," finds its home under the auspices of the emerging leftfield heavy label HUMAN WORTH.

Drawing inspiration from the raw resonance of '90s Touch & Go noise rock, the visceral grit of sludge metal, and the unbridled ferocity of post-hardcore, Modern Technology strikes the listener with the same vigour and decibel level that has earned them acclaim on stage. Navigating forward with both deliberation and sonic disarray, "Conditions Of Worth" ventures deeper and louder into the duo's articulated concerns and socially conscious perspectives. Themes encompass mental well-being, the repercussions of austerity, societal erosion, and the escalating climate crisis.

Born within the confines of a world locked down throughout 2020, the album took shape behind closed doors and came to fruition during the winter of 2022 at London's Holy Mountain Studios under the guidance of Misha Hering. This studio has also hosted the likes of Green Lung, Idles, 40 Watt Sun, Old Horn Tooth, and more. The outcome is "Conditions Of Worth" – a contemplative surge of smouldering rage, simmered until the duo could no longer contain its explosive intensity. Hering adeptly tames Modern Technology's corrosive aggression, capturing their most intricate, textured, and atmospheric compositions to date. The mastering touch of Stephen Kerrison adds the final finesse to the sonic spectrum. The result is a record that genuinely showcases the band's grandest, most unrestrained, and empowered expressions, yielding electrifying effects.

Scheduled for release through Human Worth on October 13th 2023, "Conditions Of Worth" will be available as a limited-edition Transparent "Utility Yellow" Vinyl, accompanied by a visually striking design crafted by Rackle. Furthermore, 10% of all sales proceeds will be dedicated to the charitable organisation Choose Love, which offers essential support, rescue operations, legal counsel, and humanitarian aid to refugees and displaced individuals worldwide.
